This hasn’t been a very productive week in the studio so this will definitely be a short post.

The second half of the mosaic basics class ran last night. As an instructor and a lover of all things mosaic, watching them look through the books while waiting for the grout to cure and finding things they thought were cool is a great feeling. Seeing them smile when they finished polishing up their mosaic project and enjoying the process from start to finish is mind blowing, in all truth. It is like no other experience and as always the feedback given at the end of the class helps to make the next group happy, so it’s always appreciated. I truly do appreciate the good reviews and the not so good ones. We all grow and learn as we go. I’m feeling blessed and filled with gratitude for the opportunity to work with this school.

Thank you ladies for taking the class to learn the basics with me! Hopefully I’ll see some of you in the next class giving at Mt Airy Learning Tree in June. We’re creating mosaic flower pots using dish shards and ceramic pieces!

MALT Mosaic Basics Class

There is another few classes approaching in April with the Community School of New Hope Solebury. They are new this year so hopefully if they don’t run this time, they’ll run the next semester.

I’m not sure what I’ll be working on next but have a few ideas brewing and some things need to get finished so I will concentrate on those first. I’ll share WIP photos next week on flickr as always.

Have fun, stay safe and always enjoy the moments.
